  • Objectives

    Attached to the Master's degree in information and communication sciences, the Master's track Health Communication in Organisations course focuses on organisational communication, event communication, media communication (including digital communication), on subjects of general interest and more specifically in the fields of health, social and well-being.

    Within the core courses common to all the Master's courses (all courses are delivered in french), this Master degree allows, in the field of communication and the media:

    •     to master the fundamentals of organisational communication, event communication and project management
    •     to train in the skills of media and digital communication: specialised writing; writing and management of digital content via the web and social media; production and distribution of transmedia information; video, web TV, media training;
    •     to know the theories and methods that enable the description, analysis and evaluation of communication policies, strategies, discourses and practices; to design and implement external and internal communication strategies;
    •     to know the contemporary issues and practices of public communication and, more broadly, of communication of general interest.
  • For which students? For which careers?

    The courses are based on theoretical and methodological lectures, courses given by professionals in the field of communication and the media, and tutorials with an operational focus. It is both theoretical and practical, and target students with a professional integration project in the fields of general interest, health, social and welfare activities, as well as an interest in the social sciences.
    This Master's degree prepares students for careers such as :

    •     external or internal communication officer for an organisation (company, communication agency, public body, health care institution, association or NGO, etc.), event communication officer, press relations officer, communication and public relations officer, etc;
    •     digital communication officer, information editor, web editor, community manager;
    •     project manager in information-communication and media for the realisation of information or prevention campaigns, event communication campaigns (media, non-media, print and digital).

    This Information-Communication Master's program can also lead to a thesis in Information and Communication Sciences.

    The profile of the graduates is multi-skilled in one or more of the above-mentioned fields of activity. The multidisciplinary approach, both theoretical and practical, will enable graduates to adapt later on to the changes they will encounter in an evolving intersectoral field of professional activities.

  • Admission requirements

    The Master degree Health Communication in Organisations is accessible to all students with a BAC+3 (Baccalaureate - High School Diploma + 3 years of university studies), after study ot the application file. Direct entry into the 2nd year of the Master's program is possible for students with a BAC+4, upon review of the application file for students with :

    • Holders of a Bachelor's degree in Information-Communication;
    • Holders of a Bachelor's degree in Arts, Letters, Languages, Human and Social Sciences, Political Science, Law, Economics and Management;
    • Holders of a Bachelor's degree in another discipline or foreign diplomas (subject to validation by the teaching staff and the Pedagogical Commission).
  • Internships and supervised projects

    Internships are planned in public or private organisations. Pedagogical projects, in the form of professionalising workshops anchored in the professional world in the intersectoral field of health, well-being and social work, are an integral part of the curriculum. A company project during the course, a five-month internship is possible at the end of the first year and a six-month internship is possible at the end of the second year, of which eight weeks are compulsory.

  • Applications

    Applications are closed for the start of the September 2023 school year. The dates for the 2024 application campaign will be specified later.
