Under a partnership with the association "Médias & Démocratie", twelve journalists working on the African continent will be hosted at EJCAM from December 11 to 15, 2023. The aim of the "Médias & Démocratie" (M&D) platform is to enable journalists to contribute to the promotion or consolidation of democratic processes on the African continent. As part of the RIMÉDI@S program (in Mauritania), this tenth edition of the M&D training program offers twelve Mauritanian journalists the opportunity to train and exchange ideas in Nouakchott, through theoretical courses, and then in Marseille, through immersion in the editorial offices of four Marseille media, in collaboration with EJCAM students and local information players. A round-table discussion with Master of Journalism students will be held on Wednesday December 14.
