The recruitment procedure for the 2026-2027 academic year.
Admission to the Journalism Master's program is by competitive examination, open to all holders of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with no age limit at the time of application.

For the start of the school year in September 2026
This entrance exam will take place in several stages.
- Registration on the CEJ platform
- Application form and written eligibility tests are completed online with the following documents:
Step 1 - Registration form
- Identification ;
- Transcripts of grades from the Baccalauréat, semesters and/or terms of the first and second post-baccalaureate years and the first semester of the third year;
- A photo ;
- An anonymous CV;
- Competition registration fee: €76
Stage 2 - Written tests for those who have registered
- An anonymous two- to three-page cover letter explaining why you have chosen to apply to EJCAM's Master of Journalism program.
- An anonymous* text of 2000 characters written by the student and answering the following question: What kind of journalist would you like to be after completing the training? Describe.
* Failure to anonymise the document/text will result in the application being rejected. Anonymisation is understood to mean the removal of names, surnames, dates of birth, telephone numbers, email addresses, photos, and any other identifying information. No output should be included (web links or QR codes). The use of Artificial Intelligence is prohibited.

The oral admission test follows;
This test will take place remotely. It consists mainly of a motivational interview, during which knowledge of current events and an interest in covering them may be tested.
Important
- The detailed CV lists the courses you have taken since graduating from high school, your experience (professional, associative, abroad, etc.) and mention any publications you may have made in professional media ;
- The cover letter, two to three pages long, should enable us to understand who you are and what makes you want to become a journalist, your vision of the profession and your career plans, and finally your decision to apply for the Master's degree in Journalism at EJCAM.
Requirements
You have at least a recognised bac + 3 diploma, or you are currently enrolled in L3.
