Objectives
This university diploma is designed for working journalists seeking to specialise, elite athletes transitioning to new careers, and anyone wishing to pursue a professional career in sports journalism.
The program combines academic knowledge with practical skills to meet the demands of today’s sports journalism. It is taught by a multidisciplinary team of professional journalists and experts from various fields, ensuring an education that is both practical and rigorous.
The university diploma is offered at EJCAM, a nationally recognised school of journalism that provides students with modern, industry-ready facilities.The program takes place at the EJCAM campus, located at 21 rue Virgile Marron, 13005 Marseille.

Skills and Knowledge
By the end of the course, students will have acquired:
- Basic journalism techniques
- Proficiency in professional audiovisual tools
- Multidisciplinary knowledge of the sports environment (law, economics, history, science)

Admission Requirements
Admission to the program is based on application materials and/or an interview, and is open to candidates who meet one of the following criteria:
- Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree
- Be a practicing journalist
- Be a high-level athlete seeking a career change
Proficiency in written and oral communication is required.
