From the start of the new academic year, meet the International Student Welcome Officers on your campus!
The Campus Welcome Officers are your first point of contact for personalised assistance with the administrative formalities involved in your arrival in France (visa, housing, insurance, transport, bank account, etc.):
- Help with payment of the CVEC
- Help opening a bank account.
- Help registering for health insurance on the platform dedicated to international students and applying for complementary health insurance (C2S) (CPAM)
- Help with taking out compulsory and supplementary insurance with student insurance companies.
- Information on transport services and subscription to student passes with Aix en Bus and RTM.
- Information and assistance in finding accommodation.
- Help with registering with the CAF to apply for personalised housing assistance (APL).
- Help with integrating into the local community, in terms of housing, job hunting and internships.
- Help in contacting AMU's internal and local services: Service Universitaire de Santé Etudiante (SSE), Service des Sports (SUAPS), DEVEC/ Direction Vie Etudiante/Handicap, CROUS...
- Support for non-EU students:
o Online procedures for visas and residence permits
o Appointments for: chest x-rays and medical consultations with the (SSE)
