EJCAM is proud to announce the appointment of its Director, Pauline Amiel, to the Scientific mediation chair of the Institut Universitaire de France, for her Solutions for Democracy project.
This distinction, which each year rewards teacher-researchers for the excellence of their work, recognises an approach that is doubly committed to producing rigorous knowledge on the media, information, disinformation and transformations in the public arena, and making it accessible, debatable and useful to society.
Against a backdrop of growing mistrust and information fragmentation, the Solutions for Democracy project bears a strong conviction: research cannot remain confined to academic circles. It must circulate, nourish public debate and contribute to a stronger democracy.
A great honor for Pauline Amiel, and a source of pride for our entire school.
