We are delighted to announce the arrival of Pierre Dharréville at EJCAM as Deputy Director and co-director of the journalism master's program. He joins us with a wealth of experience in the fields of journalism and politics.

Pierre Dharréville first worked in the associative press, creating the magazine Assez zoné, before doing freelance work for various press organs (Le Journal expérimental, Témoignage Chrétien, institutional and local press). He was a political journalist at L'Humanité, and in charge of comics. He was also editor-in-chief of Pif Gadget. He is a former editor of the newspaper La Marseillaise.
Pierre Dharréville was deputy for the 13th constituency of Bouches-du-Rhône, and vice-chairman of the Social Affairs Commission, where he defended press freedom, pluralism and non-concentration. As spokesman for his group, he has had other experience of the media.

Completing a doctorate in literature, he is interested in different forms of writing, including journalism, and their relationship with politics. He has published several essays (Vive la retraite!, Plaidoyer pour les aidants, Un printemps pour la République...) and novels (L'enlumineur, S'il faut partir, En l'absence de Monsieur J. ...).
