Marina Alcaraz has been a journalist for over 20 years. She works for the daily newspaper "Les Echos", where she follows the media and the tech industry, with a strategy/economics angle. Very interested in artificial intelligence, she also co-hosts a podcast: "Les Echos de l'IA". A PhD in Information and Communication Sciences since the end of 2022, she wrote her thesis on media diversification, under the supervision of Arnaud Mercier and Dominique Augey. She is an associate researcher at CARISM (Panthéon-Assas) and IMSIC (AMU). She is the author or co-author of several books on the media. The latest, Écosystème de l'information en ligne : Smart Presse (Iste Editions, 2019) (with D. Augey) provides an overview of media research. She has been teaching at EJCAM since 2018, as well as at other Universities (including Panthéon-Assas) and amU components.
