Reportage sur la Mauritanie sur Le13informé

From March 29 to April 11, 2025, students in EJCAM's Master 1 journalism program enjoyed a unique immersive experience in Mauritania. The project, part of the "Immersive Field Practices" course, enabled them to produce web and audiovisual reports (Mojo journalism) now available on the journalism students' website " Le 13informé *".

International collaboration
This initiative was made possible by a partnership with Médias & Démocratie, an organisation dedicated to helping French-speaking African journalists face the challenges of their profession. The students worked alongside ten Mauritanian journalists in continuing education, under the guidance of EJCAM teachers and Media & Democracy trainers.

Focus on migration
The students explored the theme of migration, tackling a variety of topics to address the complex realities of this phenomenon:
- Intra-African migration
- Europe-Africa relations
- Environmental and economic issues
Through this multifaceted approach, they sought to capture the socio-economic dynamics shaping contemporary migratory trajectories.
