At their invitation, in partnership with the Alliance de la presse d'information générale and the Aix-Marseille School of Journalism and Communication, several editors-in-chief of major French regional newspapers agreed to share their insights. The result: a series of four podcasts produced by the Swiss media outlet Blick, rooted in local realities and close to the people.
Richard Werly, a journalist and columnist at Blick, spoke with Anne Violette Revel of Le Parisien-Aujourd’hui en France; Sophie Gourmelen of the EBRA group, which operates throughout eastern France, from Les Dernières Nouvelles d’Alsace to Le Dauphiné Libéré; Jean-Noël Baylet, from the La Dépêche group, the leader in Occitanie; and Pierre Petillault, CEO of the Alliance de la Presse. Four conversations on the challenges facing the press, its transformations, and the issues it confronts in the age of artificial intelligence.
Joining them, Maud Mathias, a master’s student in journalism at EJCAM, participated in the recording of these podcasts.
