The Students' Office (BDE) is open to all EJCAM students. It is an essential part of the school's life, offering students a framework in which to develop common projects. The president of the office is chosen each year by the students to represent them.
The EJCAM's BDE organizes sports and cultural competitions every year, as well as integration and end-of-year parties.
These indications are addressed only to those who wish to invest themselves in the Students' Office for a complete year (September-August).

The EJCAM BDE
The BDE of EJCAM is a non-profit association (law 1901) created in 2012. It is in charge of organizing events (parties, gala, food sales) that promote social cohesion within the school. The BDE is also a place where students can come for advice and ask any kind of question. Finally, the BDE does not hesitate to support - or even participate in - important causes and issues: serving as a clothing depot for an association in favor of the most underprivileged, supporting sustainable development projects...
It is therefore important to continue in this direction. The BDE is composed of :- An office represented by a president, a vice-president, a treasurer, a secretary.
- An events department, dedicated to the organization of different events and parties during the year.
- A partnership pole, dedicated to the implementation of various partnerships with companies and bars.
- A soccer department, dedicated to the constitution of the EJCAM soccer team in order to participate in the university championship and the Tournoi de soccer Inter Écoles de Journalisme (TFIEJ). The soccer department also takes care of the players' travel to the city where the tournament is organized (if the tournament is not held in Marseille, in which case the BDE must take care of the organization).
It is necessary to appoint people in charge of each pole.

Procedure to be followed when there is a change in the members of the board
These guidelines are only for those who wish to be involved in the Student Union for a full year (September-August).
New students who take over the BDE must take care of a certain number of administrative and other formalities:
- Change the names of the members of the office. You have two solutions: you can go directly to the prefecture (metro line 1, Estrangin stop), or you can do it online. The codes and login to access the BDE account will be communicated only to the people in charge of the office.
- Make an appointment with a bank advisor to change the names of the persons in charge of the BDE bank account. Procedure reserved only for the president, treasurer and vice-treasurer. Place : CIC Canebière (near Vieux Port). Come with your ID.
- Contact Robert Lupi (06 61 90 91 38), administrative director of the CRSU, so that he can inform you about the modalities of the university soccer championship. It is imperative to contact him, since he is the one who manages the licenses that will allow you to play. Without these licenses, there will be no soccer during the year.
- Contact all companies and organizations that are partners with the BDE.
- Set a membership fee (usually between 7 and 10 euros).
- A cash box and key will be given to you at the end of the academic year. This key and cash box are the sole responsibility of the treasurer and the president. It is also preferable that the cash box be kept with one of them, or that you find a safe place in the school where you can put it.
- Rigorously inform Soisick De Canecaude and Alain Sadoul at least 3 days in advance when you organize an event in the school (e.g.: a cake sale)
