Improving your French

Mastery of French is a must in communication and journalism, both written and oral.

EJCAM considers this mastery to be an acquired skill as soon as students enter the Bachelor 3rd year program. Mistakes are systematically sanctioned in individual evaluations (5 points can be taken off if there are too many mistakes).

Students at the school are therefore encouraged to pay particular attention to the quality of their writing and expression. This quality is built up progressively through assiduous writing practice in class and outside of class (note-taking, reading notes, practical work).

Self-study in French is also recommended. In this respect, students benefit from online tools:

  • on the ENT AMU, Pedagogy tab, AmuLanguages (self-training in French, English, etc.)
  • on the digital portal of higher education
  • Ecriplus
