  • Objectives

    This university certificate is designed for communications professionals, businesses, journalists, and anyone who wants to get started in online content creation and specialise in the world of podcasting.
    The program covers the entire creative process, from hosting to marketing, including legal and technical aspects (recording, editing, journalistic writing), as well as narrative and creative elements (writing, scriptwriting), not to mention distribution challenges and business models (monetisation).

    The goal is to equip participants with all the tools they need to produce modern, engaging podcasts that meet current standards for online production, while also providing them with the means to turn this into a full-fledged professional career, if they so choose, through strategic distribution and an effective monetisation strategy.

    This training program is offered in partnership with La Fabrik À Click and draws on the expertise of a team of multidisciplinary specialists and the state-of-the-art technical equipment of a nationally recognised journalism school.

  • Skills and Knowledge

    By the end of the course, students will have acquired the following skills and knowledge:

    • Mastered skills

    Students have mastered journalistic and interviewing techniques, which are essential for producing high-quality content. They know how to produce professional audio and video content, from recording to editing. They are able to create and manage a communication plan tailored to their projects. They are also proficient in developing a coherent and relevant editorial strategy.

    • Academic knowledge mastered

    Students are familiar with audiovisual production law as well as the legal framework governing audiovisual productions. They understand media economics and the business models specific to distribution platforms. They have a solid knowledge of media history. Finally, they are able to grasp the challenges involved in communicating scientific knowledge through the media.

  • Admission Requirements

    This program is open to students who have earned 180 ECTS credits (or an equivalent degree) and whose career goals focus on podcast production.
