A great achievement for two of our Master’s in Journalism students. Théa Achterfeld and Léo Braillon won two awards at the finals of the Grand Prix des Jeunes Journalistes de la Chimie (GPJJC), held on June 18 in Paris by the Maison de la Chimie.
- First prize for best video went to their investigative piece on chemical submission and the false promises of the anti-GHB bracelet. Their angle: to demonstrate that this bracelet, marketed as capable of detecting GHB, does not live up to its promises.
- Third prize for the article “From the Glass to the Black Hole: The Journey of GHB Through the Body,” which traces the substance’s journey through the body and its effects on the brain.
An excellent way to wrap up their master’s program and their academic year at EJCAM.
The video and article are available on the Mediachimie website.
