Elena Lébely, in her first year of the Journalism Master's program, is the winner of the Presidential Press Association (PPA) scholarship.
The synopsis she had proposed for a print article was entitled "Women's time has come": a feminist collective challenges the left-wing presidential candidates. Following this, she was auditioned by the APP's selection panel.
The APP gathers journalists in charge of following the news of the Presidency of the French Republic. It is independent of the Presidency and receives no funding from it. In order to encourage diversity within the profession and to bring out new talent, the APP is offering three scholarships based on social criteria to journalism students interested in French and international politics. Each scholarship, amounting to 1500 euros, is intended for young students admitted or enrolled in a journalism school recognized by the profession and is accompanied by a mentorship with journalists members of the association.
