  • Objectives

    The Event Communication option will be delivered in 2024, subject to approval by Aix-Marseille University.

    The Event Communication option trains students to design and implement external, internal and crisis communication strategies for organisations in line with their various communication objectives, and in particular to manage brand identity, image and reputation (particularly digital). With this option, students will follow a core curriculum common to all Masters' courses, drawing on fundamental skills in Information and Communication Sciences, complemented by fundamentals in law, economics and management.

    The aim of the Event Communication option is to train students in the knowledge and skills required for global corporate communication strategy, and more specifically all forms of event communication.
    With this option, students can specialise in digital communication, influential communication on social networks, press relations and public relations.

  • Student profile

    The course combines lectures and theory with practical exercises. It is aimed at students with a great interest for corporate communications, and who wish to specialise in digital communications and social networks in particular.

  • Career opportunities

    This course prepares students for generalist positions in external communications (communications' managers) and specialised positions in the field of digital communications and media (web communications manager, social network administrator, community manager, online content designer/writer, content manager, digital brand manager, etc.).

  • Admission requirements

    The Master's degree in Information Communication, with the option of Event Communication, is open to students with a BAC+3 (Baccalaureate - High School Diploma + 3 years of university studies), after examination of their application. Direct entry into the 2nd year of the Master's program is possible for holders of a BAC+4 (Baccalaureate - High School Diploma + 4 years of university studies), subject to application review.

    • Holders of a Bachelor's degree in Information-Communication
    • Holders of a Bachelor's degree in Arts, Letters, Languages, Human and Social Sciences, Political Science, Law, Economics and Management
    • Holders of a Bachelor's degree in another discipline or foreign diplomas (subject to validation by the teaching team and the Teaching Committee).
       
  • Internship

    Five-month internship possible in the first year of the Master's program, six-month internship possible in the second year, including 8 weeks of compulsory internship.

    Students wishing to apply for a Master 2 degree can do so via e-candidat.
