International student mobility

Duration: one semester or one year (can be combined with an internship as part of a Master 2 program)

Entry requirements and stages:

• Have drawn up a study plan (list of courses chosen and equivalences) in advance with the teacher in charge of international student exchanges at EJCAM (Philippe Hert, philippe.hert@univ-amu.fr)
• Have submitted a complete application by 9 December 2025, 4 p.m. on the mobility portal
• Apply and be accepted by the host university

Conditions :

• No registration fees at the host university
• Graduation from the University of Aix-Marseille after validation of the study period in Canada
• Possibility of obtaining mobility assistance

• Contact the head of international student exchanges at EJCAM (Philippe Hert) in September of year n-1.
• Take self-study Portuguese classes (3 hours weekly) and face-to-face classes (3 hours weekly at St Charles) in conjunction with the language department, depending on your level, for the two semesters prior to your departure.
• Have drawn up your study contract (list of courses chosen and equivalences) in advance with the teacher in charge of international student exchanges at EJCAM.
• Have submitted a complete application before by 9 December 2025, 4 p.m. on the mobility portal of the International Relations Department.
• Apply and be accepted by the host university

Terms and conditions

• No registration fees at the University of Sao Paulo
• Number of places: 2
• Graduation from the University of Aix-Marseille after validation of the study period in Brazil
• Courses start at the beginning of August (southern hemisphere) for 1 or 2 semesters.

Opportunities for multidisciplinary exchange programs are offered in the USA via the ISEP program. This program brings together a number of universities. University of Aix-Marseille also has bilateral agreements with the University of Connecticut, the University of Central Arkansas and the University of Kentucky.

As part of the Erasmus+ Programme, Aix Marseille University invites you to participate in a new mobility programme: the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP).
This hybrid format, consisting of a virtual component and an in-person component, allows participants to experiment with innovative learning and teaching methods, including online collaboration and research-based learning, in order to address societal challenges.
BIPs are open to all students from their second year of study up to PhD level and include online courses and five days of physical mobility at a CIVIS partner university, funded by Erasmus.
