Objectives
This Master's degree course in information and communication sciences is fully in line with contemporary issues in organisational communication, crossing them with the major challenges of ecological and digital transitions. It responds to the growing needs of organizations - public, private, associative or institutional, of all sizes and in all sectors - faced with the need to integrate complex, innovative and responsible environmental and societal approaches into their activities and modes of governance.
The Master's program aims to train professionals capable of designing, managing and evaluating communication strategies that integrate the environmental, social and economic dimensions of the ecological transition. It is based on a dual skill set: a solid command of the theoretical, operational and scientific dimensions of organizational communications, combined with a specialisation in environmental and responsible communications, involving the appropriation of innovative logics, practices and tools that foster the commitment of stakeholders and respect for the environment.
In addition to the core courses common to the Master's program, the Communication for Organisations and Ecological Transitions course enables students to:
- understand the diversity of organisational forms and professional cultures, as well as communication strategies adapted to eco-responsible approaches involving multiple stakeholders (decision-makers, employees, consumers, users, partners, citizens) ;
- link the three pillars of ecological transitions - economic, societal and environmental - in the design, management, media coverage and evaluation of innovative, collaborative communication projects;
- develop mastery of digital communication practices, by selecting tools and devices adapted to the objectives of governance, participation and change management.
Thanks to an interdisciplinary approach combining information and communication sciences, social sciences, environmental issues and professional practices, this course trains communicators capable of supporting organizational transformations, contributing to public debate on transitions, and acting ethically and strategically in complex and evolving contexts.
